Kindergarten in Shagal residential complex
Kindergarten plays a significant role in the development of every child, so it was important to design an interesting space for them - to attract their attention and stimulate their imagination, to create new, unexpected scenarios for their play, communication, and outdoor activities.

The building's geometry is based on a contrast with the surrounding high-rise buildings of the ZIL district. The nursery stands out immediately from the general background. The traditional silhouette of a sloping roof brings a more comfortable scale, while cantilevered projections and complex geometry of upper levels add a playful element: they develop a child's spatial intelligence, instill new aesthetic skills, and enrich their worldview.
Learning something new is also captured within the building's walls: at the entrance, children are greeted by a giant dinosaur, whose neck stretches through a double-height space on two floors. Such a second light enriches a child's experience and creates a memorable wow-effect. In the interior of the group rooms, the mood is dictated by the sloping roof. Here, multi-level ceilings, lamps of different heights, and panoramic windows appear. For a small person, such a spacious, well-lit area is a continuation of the world outside, just as big and boundless.
Large sculptures of dinosaurs from the interiors also come out into the courtyard. Here, play areas of unusual shapes and sizes resemble a modern park - such moderately complex solutions provide more freedom of movement, learning, and choice. In addition to playgrounds for each group, there are areas for joint games on the territory: two sports fields, an interactive exhibition, and a path with many different coverings, where children can run barefoot and tactically explore the world around them in summer.
