ATRIUM studio actively participated in the Biennale, developing two unique pavilions in Decentraland and W3RLDS, as well as the masterplan for the entire exhibition in Decentraland.
The first pavilion, titled Space of (Un)limited boundaries on the Decentraland platform, conceptually resembles a vortex and is an experiment on how visitors can interact with inclined surfaces in virtual space.
In W3RLDS, visitors move through exhibition halls with names such as "Infinite Radiance", "Rising Up", "Emptiness", "Upside Down", and "Only Way Out". Together, the two pavilions form a large-scale, complex structure, shaped like the letter "A". The exhibition concludes with a demonstration of the research project and additional unexplored boundaries of space.
The key goal of both projects was to combine different architectural elements to observe and evaluate how users interact with them in virtual space, as well as how they perceive ATRIUM's architectural ideas in a new light.
