The construction for the new middle and high school building is planned on a site near the Mosckvorecky park ice rink. The project includes several individual blocks (sports hall, the school, concert hall etc.) which are connected with a single social space.

This spatial strategy has been tested and successfully implemented by ATRIUM in several projects, as it turns the school into a complex with multiple connections and produces various typologies of educational platforms (instead of corridors and recreation – streets, squares, atriums, parks etc.), as well as brings in a sense of play forming an entertaining and inspiring environment.
The school’s territory also follows this approach. The site develops around the main building, interacts with it, enters its interior spaces, forms open spaces and cosy recreational areas. Elevated mass of the building and glass-finished ground floor level create an atmosphere of transparency and fluidify through the site turning it into a single space without separating it into the inside and the outside.
Sports and activities play an important part in the complex. Aside from the two pools and a large multifunctional gym with tribunes, the site offers a full-size football field, basketball courts etc.
