Residential Complex on Sadovnicheskaya Embankment
The residential building on Sadovnicheskaya Embankment consists of four sectional-type blocks with varying heights from 6 to 8 stories. The key design concept is the creation of a stepped structure in both plan and section, featuring numerous wraparound balconies and terraces. These are enclosed by a decorative secondary façade layer made of vertical pilasters.
read-about-project
The residential project is located in the prestigious Zamoskvorechye District, along Sadovnicheskaya Embankment and Komissariat Lane. The building maintains the historical block development of central Moscow and aligns with the height profile of the embankment. Integration into the historical landscape is further emphasized by the use of natural stone in the façade cladding. The complex comprises four sectional-type buildings of varying heights, unified by a commercial space zone on the ground floors and a shared single-level underground parking garage. The residential blocks, positioned along the streets, form a private inner courtyard designed for residents to enjoy quiet relaxation.
The façade enhances privacy through decorative elements that reduce window visibility and also function as terrace railings. The bud-like forms of the buildings reference the "Tsar's Gardens", which graced this area until the early 18th century. The ground floors are emphasized with large glazed areas, while the residential apartments prioritize privacy with balconies and terraces that project beyond the façade plane.
